MEET OUR STAFF

Our medical and office staff are the backbone of our clinic. The doctors are able to focus on practicing medicine because our staff work wonders to fill in the clinical and operational gaps to ensure the highest standard of care for patients. We are truly grateful to their duties and all their assistance to our patients and community.

Office Manager

Joni joined the SWAFAC team the summer of 2021 and is the hub between providers, employees, and patients. She wears many hats to ensure the medical practice operates smoothly, and the organizational aspect of patient care is done seamlessly. From care coordination, scheduling, referrals, supervising employees, and everything in between, Joni goes above and beyond to deliver the most excellent patient support. She loves baking, hot dogs, Disney, cooking, and baseball. Joni is the proud mother of two sweet cats: AJ and Ozzy. Don't forget to strike up a conversation with her about her impressive and undeniable skill of arcade basketball.

Alexis Cox

Lead Medical Assistant

Alexis joined SWAFAC the summer of 2022 and has since become an integral part of our practice. She ensures patients' podiatric needs are met which entail but are not limited to wound care, setting up x-rays, assisting in procedures, and casting. Whether Alexis has 1 or 100 patients, she maintains an unwavering sense of calm and professionalism to ensure the standard of care is upheld. Hailing originally from east Texas and raised in Austin, she is our sweet lead MA and you are in good hands with her.

Deiadra Keller

Billing and Credentialing

Deiadra has been in charge of our billing department since the formation of SWAFAC. She is a devoted expert to the field and our practice. Deiadra has over 20+ years of experience with billing and credentialing, and is dedicated to ensuring patients' questions are answered with all the complexities of insurances and authorizations. She unravels the most complicated knots of billing and medical coverage for our office and patients, all while having the most undaunted attitude.
